Okay so I noticed just now that the one in the tourist guide section can only be replied to by admins, so here's a temporary thread for suggestions from members.

I mainly made this because I wanted to say:
I noticed Anselm now has a theatre and whenever the culture portion gets written up, it may be important to note whether or not women are allowed to act, or whether they use young boys for womens roles.

I'll just delete it and leave this one here or figure out the permissions. I meant to post it in rules, which I think can be replied to by everyone.

And as for that subject, I'm not sure. Ley was actually made for that sort of purpose, but what do you guys think? If a doll can do it, I assume women can, but even so, I don't think they're so high up on the status scale, though I'm not totally decided. (I'm just a dirty misogynist. XD)

Hm, that's a hard one to decide. I'd say it's a sort of contradictory dichotomy. Male non-humans still fit into more male roles, but human females are still "above" non-humans.

But it's more of whether or not men believe women are capable of acting properly. That is, that they think they have enough control over their emotions and enough self control over themselves to be able to play a part in a story. There were all sorts of ridiculous theories about female psychology invented by men who obviously didn't understand, so I'm thinking in the case of acting, a male doll would still be preferable to a female human.

I've got a question for non-mods...

If a location thread of yours is locked (which we do), are you still able to edit it or no? If not, I'll just have to keep them unlocked and trust that no one else will post in them. = .. = ;;

I also have a question: Should we have directory topic somewhere of all the open threads? When someone makes a new open thread, they can post a link to it in the thread. Then, a mod takes the link, sticks it into the list in the first post of the thread, and deletes the post.

Hmmm but then when an open thread is claimed... I guess the process would have to be the same to get it removed from the list.

Can we rely on our members to be arsed with that?

I have no clue... I want to make things as easy as possible and right now they're not really, and that would just add more shit to it.

But I guess all they'd have to do is change the 'open' tag to 'closed' and we would just see it (I look at everything most of the time) and I could take it off the list. [shrugs] D:
